NSIC or National Small Industries Corporation is a Government of India undertaking under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). In tender MSEs quoting price within price band of L1+15 per cent shall also be allowed to supply a portion upto 25% of requirement by bringing down their price to L1 Price where L1 is non MSEs.
By getting NSIC Registration out of the total annual requirement of 20% supplies from MSMEs, 4% is reserved for the units owned by SC/STs.
